Please consider adding a home screen widget to the input app (com.smarttech.iq.avinput.service) for SMART iQ 4 that allows users to preselect an input source directly—without needing to open the full input app first and then choose the desired input.

For example, if a teacher consistently uses USB-C-1 for their laptop, it would be extremely convenient to have a home screen widget on SMART iQ 4 that switches to this input with a single tap.

Ideally, the widget should also reflect any custom name assigned to the input source. For instance, if USB-C-1 has been renamed “Laptop” in the SMART iQ 4 settings, the widget should display “Laptop” inside the widget instead of the default label.

Enabling one-touch access to a preferred input source would significantly save time and make SMART iQ 4 even more intuitive to use.
