Lock screen in SMART iQ™
There have been several requests by customers for a lock screen in SMART iQ™ (not the scenario with a computer connected to the SMART Board® interactive display, where you can easily just lock Windows or macOS X).
Both, teachers and business users, need to have a feature where they easily can lock the SMART iQ™ screen with a PIN when they are making a break. Teachers don't want students to play around with SMART iQ™ in a break and business users want to cover secret information that might be visible on SMART iQ™ for others, entering the meeting room while the meeting owner's are out for lunch.
In fact, at least in our region some end customers really bought Promethean displays instead, just because of this missing SMART iQ™ feature!
It should be very easy to add this feature, because it is already build right into the android layer underneath SMART iQ™.

This is available on SMART Boards running iQ 3.11 or newer.

Whats the update on this implementation?
As we noticed you have made this a feature on the GX Displays:) Which works great.
See attachment, just bring this environment over to the general IQ-Software.
