Save User Icon and Username
While security is key, in classrooms where teachers move between classrooms, the full username/email and password sign in every time a user switches to a new hour detracts from time spent preparing for class.
An easy solution is to hold the persons username/email in a queue on the left side of the board (similar to what Chrome does with multiple users) and then have teachers JUST type the password. This provides a nice balance of security and ease-of-use.
Watching teachers log in several times a day in front of high school students is painful. This might be a quick solution for them.

I want to add to this that with the V5 boards when you sign out of your account it is not secured with a password. anyone can come up after you log out and just log right into your account. it never asks for a password or pin. The only way to secure your account is to remove the account from the board which means having to go through the entire login process again later in order to get logged in.
There should be stored accounts that ask for password or pin when logging in, much like on most PCs where you don't have to type in all your credentials again.

Yes, this isn't just important in secondary schools, but in elementary as well. Nothing gets a classroom more distracted than "waiting". When a teacher needs to log in, and it takes more than 1 minute, you can lose a class.
BenQ allows for using a RF sticker to log in quickly. Viewsonic uses a QR code to log in quickly. SMART needs to do something (please).
