Enhanced Guest Mode Controls & Auto-Wipe Functionality
Customers want SMART to implement guest mode controls similar to what is available on Clear Touch panels with NUITEQ software. Specifically, they need the ability for admins to restrict what guests (default user) can access and ensure session data is erased upon sign-out.
Key Features Requested:
Admin-Controlled Guest Permissions
Ability to define what guest users can access (e.g., disable Chrome, limit app usage).
Admins should have centralized control over these settings.
Guest Session Auto-Wipe
When a guest user signs out, all session data (browsing history, downloads, logins, files, etc.) should be automatically erased.
Prevents unauthorized data persistence between sessions.
Persistent Guest Restrictions
Guests should not be able to override admin-imposed limitations during their session.
Ensures that guest access remains restricted as defined by IT/admin policies.

This would be big for school districts. Our educators use Smart Account Login and are instructed to sign out of the board when not in the room to remove access to their work information. This however leaves a "blank" guest account that students have access to. If we could limit the use of this guest account that would be a great way for us to help enforce the log in and out while keeping our students safe.
