It would be great to lock and unlock the whole SMART Board® interactive display screen with a specific token on a USB thumb drive (like locking the settings). In a nutshell, working with a MX or 7000R series display should provide a fast and easy lock and unlock procedure for the whole screen. Just like the 6000S series will provide with the new SMART ID cards (in my case without the logon credentials of the ID cards).

Let's say you have a new additional option in the SMART iQ™ settings to write a token to an USB thumb drive which only purpose would be to lock (USB thumb drive is not connected) or unlock (USB thumb drive is connected) the whole screen (instead of locking the settings) - this would be awesome!

I know that SMART iQ™ is expecting a PIN code procedure in the future, but relying on a PIN the teacher has to enter in front of the class with huge keyboard keys might not be a good option. Having another, optional way to write a token to a USB thumb drive might be a good idea.
