  1. Please allow customers to order replacement logic boards for SMART Boards, even if it requires a swap of the defective part. We have a SMART Board that has a broken HDMI port, and SMART Tech support has said there is nothing that can be done except to contact our reseller, and our reseller says there is nothing they can do.

Unfortunately, the internals of existing SMART Boards are not end user replaceable. There are no replacement parts available.

We're looking at making future SMART Boards more modular to address these scenarios.

  2. It Would be great if there was a way to connect a third part graphic tablet like a wacom via HDMI to the Smart panel. It's strange that Smart doesn't have this option. does any developer have any solution on this? it's possible to modify the Smart Android operating system?

Certain Wacom tablet models can be connected to any Android device including a SMART Board. This is typically accomplished via a USB connection or wirelessly via Bluetooth.

Contact your tablet manufacturer for confirmation that their products support Android devices, and connection instructions. Some tablets may require an additional Android application to be installed that is provided by the tablet manufacturer.

  3. Would like a way to disable the front buttons on the MX V2. Similiar to how it works somewhat with the older 6000 series displays. Where the touch buttons can be deactivated.
