Hello,
I recently reached out to SMART with the same inquiry and received the following response:
"I heard back from the product management and development teams, and they advised that an option to disable iQ on iQ 4–based displays is on their roadmap. However, there are limitations compared to iQ 3. To clarify, iQ 3 was based on the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) but did not include the Google Play Store or Google Play Services, which gave us the flexibility to customize freely. In contrast, iQ 4 includes both Google Play Store and Google Play Services, which means we must comply with certain requirements set by Google. These restrictions may limit what changes we can make regarding a ‘disable iQ’ feature. As a result, we currently don’t have a timeline for when this will be explored, nor exact details on how it will be implemented or behave."
In the meantime, please note that iQ 4 allows you to set the default input. You can do so by navigating to: Settings > SMART > Input > Default input
