An error occurred while saving the comment Yes, the short answer response should allow more than 25 characters. It would also be beneficial to include an extended response option so students can write longer, more detailed answers. Teachers are using the Response feature to ask a variety of question types including multiple choice, true/false, and short responses all within the same Response activity.
Providing students with opportunities to practice both short constructed responses (SCR) and extended constructed responses (ECR) aligns with state testing formats. When students engage in these question types regularly during formative assessments, it strengthens their overall writing skills and ensures they feel prepared for similar tasks on upcoming tests. -

Having the ability to save student names to a spinner for reuse would be a significant time saver for teachers. Currently, they must open the Widget Toolbox, select the spinner, and manually enter up to 23 student names for each Lumio activity. This process becomes repetitive and time-consuming.
If teachers could save and reuse a spinner with student names, they would be able to quickly select it when reopening a Lumio activity, streamlining their workflow and maximizing instructional time.
Teachers would not need to go to another site that has offers presaved student names on the spinner to use it, they could stay within Lumio if this was an option.
