rotate compass without drawing
It would be nice to be able to rotate the compass without having it draw the arc. In multi-step geometric constructions the results can look very cluttered if every rotation is drawn.
Suggestion: allow dragging the upper part of the pencil (outside the colored band) to rotate without drawing. Dragging the central colored band of the pencil would rotate AND draw.
Thank you!
The green dot at the top of the compass allows you to rotate without drawing an arc.

Can you change this to a bug report then? In latest (23.1.1232.1) on Win10 when the green dot (above the compass) is in front of an image, the dot is no longer selectable, so the compass cannot be rotated.
It seems to work as long as the dot is not in front of an image. The rest of the compass works fine on top of images, so far as I can tell. It doesn't matter whether the image is locked, in background, etc.
I am almost always working on top of an image or imported pdf, so I didn't realize the green dot ever worked as intended :P
Thanks!
