An error occurred while saving the comment Ronald Fisher commentedIt would seem that we are in an age that we just can't stand not being able to customize our digital content. It's like we want to accessorize any product we get our hands on (think of Barbie and all her clothes, or our own kitchen decor - we like to individualize). What would happen if we couldn't change it to match our mood? I think eventually this could be a selling point, a product that matches and individualizes according to content or needs. I still like the basic backgrounds as a starting point!

An error occurred while saving the comment Ronald Fisher commentedUpdate on my comment below, when I first investigated there was no round knob in the bottom left corner, It is there today, and just a bit touchy on the mac, sometimes I can't resize it until I exit and reopen the document.
It is probably the best "search" that is connected with NB right now. I find instant videos relevant to the topic. So far YT add-on seems to stay within the parameters I search for allowing for me to find content that fits my curriculum. An error occurred while saving the comment Ronald Fisher commentedSlick, it has a couple of great features. One, it is a safe search. Two, it is super fast - it has no hiccups as it automatically imports and pushes the video instantly to the workspace. One thing that I couldn't change was the size. I am wondering if that was designed that way. It allows for about a 480 p and then the arrow in the upper left corner toggles to about a 720 p. Will that be the only two options? I then clicked on the "watch on YouTube" to be able to see the video Full Screen.

An error occurred while saving the comment Ronald Fisher commentedWhere? Where do I find these? Do I go to SMART exchange? Do these new widgets replace the flash items?
Update: Found them: Everyone they are in the Gallery. Just type in the one you want and they show up. I agree with +Mike, the spinner needs more segments. I would also hope to see the "Selector Hat" It has been nifty in Class Lab to have my students select the next person using the hat with a pre-generated Student list. Maybe this could be the replacement for the random word chooser that +Mike mentions.

An error occurred while saving the comment Ronald Fisher commentedI like the search for images being right there, instead of having to go to a separate window - a browser and search for content to go with my lessons. I guess I like the fact that the images are Creative Commons allowing us to use Free images. I guess Bing is a good place to start. The fact that it is separated between photos and clip art is a real bonus.

I like what Holger and Mike are hinting at, the themes are really geared toward the younger students (elementary aged). Could we suggest some ways of "hitting" the older childrens' interest? They are absorbed with more mature agendas, but let us not forget that there is a kid in all of us whether we are 10, 15, 22 or even 102. By starting here it we don't want a plethora of themes, but I sense we want to customize to fit our audience!!!
