1. Settings and apps in iQ synced with my SMART account on every display

   It would be very helpful if the entire display settings and app data available in iQ (wallpapers, language settings, app logins...) were synced with the Smart account (stored in Smart cloud) and it would transfer into every display that I log in to.
   All display settings and installed apps are currently stored in the display after login. The only thing available on every displays after login is the data stored in the Lumio.
   Are there ever plans to extend this to at least change the language settings and wallpaper on all displays where one logs in? The ideal situation would be to have all my applications and logins used in those apps "under" SMART login so it is available on all Smart displays.

   Settings sync is currently in the backlog. We're hoping this will be another reason why users will want to sign in using their SMART Accounts.

   
   

   App sync unfortunately will not be possible as there are many factors that will lead to this not working, such as: the board doesn't have enough space to install the app, the app isn't compatible with a particular board, the publisher of the app have withdrew the app from further distribution.

   Allow saving of the open tabs as your chromium start up screen. Every time there is an update I have to reload all of my chromium tabs and passwords for those websites. Please make it like the chrome desktop setting where there is an option to "open specific pages (tabs) on startup". Thanks!

   Hello! It looks like others using Chromium and Google Chrome on Android are experiencing the same frustration. Google is currently working on this but no release date yet. I expect to see this in a future version of Chrome/Chromium.

4. Provision/change settings for SMART Mirror within the Remote Management portal

   Despite newer boards now forcing the use of SMART Mirror, there is no functional way of managing settings within the app via Remote Management, simply being told to manually apply these instead.

   On a fleet of 140ish boards, that simply isn't sustainable, especially not for a consistent experience for staff and students.

   The following should be configurable via the MDM as a minimum:
   - Room Name (including an option to copy the board name that is set already, like Screen Share previously did).
   - Moderator Mode.
   - Floating ID.
   - All network settings, including enabling/disabling AirPlay, Miracast, Google Cast etc as required.
   - Local connections.
   - Unlimited connections.
   - Requiring a connection PIN.
   - Locking settings (extremely important to prevent tampering).

   Any setting available within Mirror should be configurable via Remote Management honestly, but the above is a minimum for sure.

   A consistent experience is often a better and more confident experience, and it is impossible to keep up with this manually on large fleets of boards.

   The ability to record handwriting lessons so the teacher can assist children one on one rather than be at the front of the room with back to children while trying to write super neat & show correct formation while blocking with teachers body in the way.

   SMART is exploring options to enable screen recording.

7. Ignore/Lock input - but continue displaying content.

   An ability to block/ignore touch input - so that students can not change what is being displayed.

   Perhaps require the teacher to touch a pattern (top corners?) on the screen - or a long/double-press or a combo of buttons on the remote to (de)activate the feature.

   This is being planned for the next generation of SMART displays.

8. Clean up feature on ENT displays - add option to disable

   When the iQ software is inactive for an extended period of time, the log/cache is cleared of security/security to avoid unauthorized access to information when it is not in use.

   The ENT (enterprise) displays has "Clean up" enabled by default unlike EDU (education) which has an option to disable it.

   We have several screens at my workplace (ENT) that are constantly active and where the material we are showing is automatically shut down due to automatic clean up (it is annoying and users have unfortunately gradually stopped restarting the material on the screen because of this).

   It would therefore be grateful if this setting could also become available on ENT screens.

10. Enable Direct Whiteboard to Whiteboard Screen Sharing

    As a user I would like an easy way to connect one or more remote whiteboards together so that everyone participating can collaborate using the full capabilities of the SMART boards.

    The current process right now uses the app. The first time setup and use process is:
    - Open App
    - Scan App
    - Click Sharing button on App
    - Set sharing session to static link (one time step)
    - Get link
    - Send link to other team
    - Have team type link into whiteboard
    - Have remote team click star to save as bookmark
    - Use whiteboard session

    This setup needs to be done every time a new user leads a white boarding session which makes it cumbersome.

    The steps for on going use are:
    - Open App
    - Scan App
    - Click Sharing button on App
    - Tell other team to open browser
    - Tell other team to click "..." and bookmarks
    - Click bookmark that corresponds to my static link.

    The additional downsides of the app based approach are:
    - It drains my phone battery
    - If you forget to disallow the app from using cell data it can use 11 GB of data (that was an expensive accident).

    My feature request is to enable sharing directly from the whiteboard. This will make it easier for technically illiterate folk to share sessions between whiteboards.

    It should:
    - Use the whiteboard's wifi connection to create and power the static/dyanmic sharing link
    - Have a button to turn on sharing on the host whiteboard
    - Enabling an easy way to see a session ID instead of having to scan with the app on the host whiteboard
    - Input for the Session ID on remote whiteboards to join the screen sharing session
